PENSA considers Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a concept that integrates social and environmental concerns in their operations and in their interaction with stakeholders on a daily basis.

PENSA launched a social program that is contributing to the development of the communities of San Jacinto, El Ojochal, San Pío, Gracias a Dios and El Chorro, a population of more than 3500 people surrounding the San Jacinto-Tizate project in the municipality Telica, Leon, Nicaragua.

PENSA´s environmental program is primarily focused on ensuring protection, both to workers and the surrounding communities that includes environmental aspects. To this end, plans are accompanied by various awareness campaigns and develop education.

PENSA is characterized by its CSR program by establishing strategic alliances with key players in the three sectors of society: Civil Society, Government and Private Enterprise. CSR practices developed by PENSA express the results of an organization that has applied principles in all its operations as part of its corporate culture.
